My problem with that particular quote (and the scene) was it served no purpose in the plot, except to paint Sarah Palin as looney (in my opinion).

The woman behind the door was a throw-away character who is never mentioned again.

Shooting through the door violates every trigger discipline rule in the book (and a hunter like Palin would understand those).

Her immediate surrender at the words “federal agent” after shooting through the door at them was a bit incredible.

I, too, am a gun owner. I didn’t see the comment as positive.

I appreciate your sharing your perspective, though. (After all, that’s the purpose of this thread for me - having a “sanity check”)

Yes, but remember that the left says that Palin is of no consequence. But, as she says, she lives rent free in their brains!

Consider it as their childish retort (and be glad it's not a drinking game).
