I think it is something you tie to your boat to keep it from floating away.

What's a Joss Stone?

Check this out... It's from the DVD "Jeff Beck - Performing This Week, Live at Ronnie Scott's." One of the best concert videos I've ever seen. Jeff Beck is at the top of his game, and his band in phenomenal!
