Carrie Prejean demanded more than a million dollars during her settlement negotiations with Miss California USA Pageant officials -- that is, until the lawyer for the Pageant showed Carrie an XXX home video of her handiwork.
The video the lawyer showed Carrie is extremely graphic and has never been released publicly. We know that, because TMZ obtained the video months ago but decided not to post it because it was so racy. Let's just say, Carrie has a promising solo career.
We're told it took about 15 seconds for Carrie to jettison her demand and essentially walk away with nothing. As we first reported, the Pageant is paying around $100,000 to her lawyers and publicist -- a fraction of her bills. She pockets nothing in the settlement.

Not LMAO for me, but a bit if a chuckle.
And the lesson to be learned may be, “Be very careful of the people you choose to represent your moralist movement and in that you may want to avoid choosing augmented beauty contest queens to lead such efforts.”
There is a difference between masturbating in private and making a sex video. It's the hypocrisy the leftists are going at. She answered her question well at the pageant, but she shouldn't have agreed to speak at Christian functions when she knew she had masturbated on film (knowing it would eventually come out most likely). Jesus is forgiving, but people aren't. Making a sex tape is NOT comparable to masturbating in private.
LOL
I once knew a girl from New Zealand
She got a particular feelin’
Her name was Carrie Prejean
and I forget how the rest goes ...
“I have been informed from numerous sources, that he firmly believed no man in the world to be chaste, or any part of his person undefiled; but that most men concealed that vice, and were cunning enough to keep it secret. To those, therefore, who frankly owned their unnatural lewdness, he forgave all other crimes.”
-Suetonius, The Life of Nero.
You were just dumb enough to buy the lie.
Um, sorry if my mind/past is dirtier than most, but I think the “solo” comment probably had to do with “singing into the microphone”, if you get the drift. That is probably the racy part that TMZ is referring to (not that they would know class, but at least they were circumspect here).
This whole issue just raise the whole “splinter/plank” issue I think us conservatives tend to get in trouble for. I just feel bad I didn’t see this from a mile away.
I’d need to examine the evidence before passing judgement.
The only thing that bothers me about this is the image Prejean portrayed. If you try to perp being as pure as the driven snow but are have sex tapes in your past, you only have yourself to blame.
Oh, and my what a wonderfully wholesome and ethical committee that pageant group is, to resort to blackmail! The ones so tolerant of all sexual preferences! She should have made the deal if the tape gets leaked, all bets are off. Because the tape will get leaked. And she will get nothing.
I'm not the defender of TMZ, but I do have a pretty good grasp on the definition of libel. TMZ's reporting is clear here - they don't use protective or qualifying phrases like "sources say" or "insiders tell us". They make a declaration of fact, and go on to say that they've seen the tape themselves. If it didn't exist, and they didn't know the events transpired as described, they wouldn't expose themselves to a civil action with such libelous language. I believe TMZ's reporting is accurate with respect to this issue.
Well, neither.
There were pics of her "posing," sure. But some involved her and another woman, one pic in particular where Vanessa was actually performing an act.
Or so I've been told.
The thing is, who can name any other Miss America winners other than Vanessa?
There’s no such thing as bad publicity.
You underestimate the hatred that the TMZ has for Prejean. Think about it. They claim to have had this tape for months, yet not only did they refuse to release it, they never even reported on it.
They are lying because they think they can get away with it.
If this is true, why would she back down. The tape would be sure to be released anyway.
On the contrary, if they had such hatred it would have been immediately released and available everywhere.
There is no indication that that is true (though admittedly I haven’t done a google search to try and find it).
Prejean’s issue was with Perez Hilton, who’s website is a competitor with TMZ. TMZ is indeed liberal, but they are not Perez Hilton (the gay man who asked the question that created this who fracas)
Were they lying, it should be a clear libel suit against them. If indeed she knows for a fact that no such tape exists, she could sue easily. Perhaps she will.
But, such a libel case would be easily dismissed if TMZ produced said tape, hence why they apparently felt comfortable saying they did have one.
Please tell me who called the wrath of Heaven down on their opponents?
Of course, what’s Christian about us reading gossip, as well?
While I don't doubt for a minute that TMZ "hates" Prejean, I don't believe that they are in the business of releasing sex-tapes. TMZ reports on Celebrity stories, but they are, after all owned by AOL/Time Warner, a company with very deep and attractive pockets to attorneys who specialize in defamation cases.
They "couldn't get away with it", as what they report would be clearly actionable if it were inaccurate.

Sheriffs Get TMZ Exclusive: Harvey Levin’s Phone Records
“It’s disgusting they would do something like this,” Levin said.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department may have got the scoop on TMZ’s Harvey Levin. And he’s not happy.
The LA Times earlier this month revealed that the Sheriff’s Department had obtained Levin’s telephone records as part of an investigation into the leak of information about Mel Gibson’s 2006 drunk-driving arrest and subsequent anti-Semitic laced tirade.
Levin expressed his outrage during a meeting at the Radio & Television News Association of Southern California.
“It breaks federal law, it breaks state law,” Levin was quoted in the Times. “This is like ‘Chinatown.’ It’s disgusting they would do something like this. How do you protect sources? It goes to the core of freedom of the press.”
Several Journalism groups and legal experts agree.
Lucy Dalglish, and attorney and executive director of the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, told the Times, “Most law enforcement agencies know it’s illegal or have a hard time getting a judge signing off on it.”
Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore told the Times his department consulted a prosecutor before seeking the search warrant and said a judge aprroved it.
“We’ve met with lawyers and are charting our course of action,” Levin said. “This is not going to go away.”
