I don't know if you are referring to guys here, but a Russian accent on a woman is extremely sexy. As far as comparing American dialects, I'd be willing to bet money that if we took a poll, the New York/New Jersey accents would be well, well below any of the California dialects in terms of sexiness. Easily. A strong New York accent can make even the hottest woman unbearable. Think Fran Drescher.

This could very well be true for my own accent, which reflects my parents' upbringing in rural and small town Southern California, as well as my own in the suburbs east of Los Angeles. For example, I pronounce "marry," "merry," and "Mary" exactly the same, as I do "cot" and "caught." When I say "any," it rhymes with "mini" or "Ginny." I usually pronounce the suffix "anti-" as "ant eye," and when I say "Moscow," it rhymes with "Bosco."
