WoW! She jams! And what a hot, classy beauty to boot. Heck. I don’t think that outfit had any lycra. I think that was all Pat un-lycra-ed. Fantastic. Thanks for the post.

I remember that tour. Pat purposely went softer on the album when she was pregnant as she didn't want to risk any hearing issues with the baby while in utero. She and hubby, Neil (her guitar player) have had their ups and downs as a couple, but its awesome to still see them together.
And Pat, along with Ann Wilson, has the best rock voice ever.

I don’t think it is about child abuse, but more like, emotional abuse.

Yeah, I’d read years ago it was about wife abuse whereas Hell is for Children was about child abuse.

Google?
Many remember the song, but who ever heard of the Buggles? You win. My 8 year old daughter loves that song and is a big Pat Benetar fan.

I am a sucker for that raspy and emotional rock voice in women. A lot of passion in the vocal chords with Pat, Bonnie, Joan Jett, etc.

Nope, didn’t need Google for it. I was there, the day MTV came on air. Saw it with my own eyes and never forgot the song. Still can’t believe Trevor Horn was in that band.

As a portion of R&R stars it seems there were many more female stars in Rock and Roll in the 50s and 60s. Just my perception.
