SGU is growing on me and I will continue to watch the show.
SyFy has a V marathon that is on right now. To me V is just the original mini.. The Final Battle was ok, but the TV show was crap...
I think the new V will be good.

SciFi (I refuse to give any attention to the new name) is showing the original V miniseries right now.

Shoot. Meant to tune into the V miniseries. I never saw the first half-hour or so.
The second miniseries was okay -- ending sucked so badly that they tried to change it in the novel somewhat.
Series was terrible. I won't be taping that from SyFy.

Watching SGU. It shows promise.
Co-incidentally, I taped episodes of "Moonlight" during a recent marathon. The GoTo Guy (Vampire, actually) who is good with computers is our Math Boy, Eliot.
Sanctuary is up in the air right now. The whole Cabal thing was settled in what, a single episode. I'm not sure about the cast shakeup. They didn't give Invisible Girl a fair shot and I'm not too fond of Freelander (could they have come up with a better name for a freelancer??)
Nice to see some of the Eureka cast when that show isn't on (just like the cameos in Warehouse 13).

I’m still not sure about SGU. I find Dr. Rush completely annoying (if I want to listen to an arrogant elitist narcissist, I’ll turn on the TV and watch the Obozo); the nerd Eli is too nerdish; Lt. Scott (who wanted to be a priest)in a closet having sex with some chick each week, which is waaaaay too soap-opera for me; and everyone else whines all the time, including the Col.-in-charge. Mostly they all just sit around b*tching. That’s NOT entertainment. My advice to them is to man up, and for heaven’s sake, turn some lights on. The whole thing is filmed in the DARK.

Not really scifi, but last Monday’s Castle was a Halloween story (of course), and Fillion showed up in a “space cowboy” costume, exactly like the one he wore in Firefly. Nice touch.

Enjoying FlashForward, SGU is OK (still haven't watched the last one), and looking forward to V. Another show that might belong on the list is
Venture Brothers on Adult Swim. Currently a couple of episodes into it's new season with a new episode tonight at midnight.

The original miniseries is an allegory on Fascism/Communism. The two part miniseries is really about the eternal struggle for freedom. The TV spin off wasn't all that great but the miniseries was. Its just great television and hooks you in from the first reel and unlike many 80s shows, it doesn't feel dated at all.
