I hope everyone reading this had a great TG’g day. Mine was a flurry of cooking and last-minute cleaning, then the meal around 4 o’clock. Desserts were the worst. Being a fairly new diagnosed diabetic, with a diabetic son, I tried to make all desserts “healthy.” Ick. Only one turned out ok. My son said, Mom, next year, let’s just eat regular desserts and I’ll take more insulin.”
That’s bad.

Loved Well
That you . . . may be able to comprehend . . . what is the width and length and depth and heightto know the love of Christ. Ephesians 3:17-19
We were gathered with family for Thanksgiving dinner when someone asked if each person would share what he or she was thankful for. One by one we talked. Three-year-old Joshua was thankful for music, and Nathan, aged 4, for horses. We were all silenced, though, when Stephen (who was soon to turn 5) answered, Im thankful that Jesus loves me so well. In his simple faith, he understood and was grateful for the love of Jesus for him personally. He told us that Jesus showed His love by dying on a cross.
The apostle Paul wanted the believers in the church at Ephesus to understand how well God loved them, and that was his prayer: That [they would] be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and heightto know the love of Christ (Eph. 3:17-19). He prayed that they would be rooted and grounded in that love.
To ground ourselves in Gods love, it would be helpful to review these verses frequently or even memorize them. We can also take a few minutes each day to thank the Lord for the specific ways He shows His love to us. This will help us to grow in our belief and be thankfulas Stephen isthat Jesus loves us so well.
O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints and angels song. Lehman

Did you use some ‘Splenda’ recipes. Splenda is so expensive and someone said you used the same amount of Splenda as the sugar. Like 1 cup sugar would be 1 cup Splenda. That would break up a rich person....LOL!
I am supposed to watch my sugar as I’m borderline diabetic but I do break over often. Its almost impossible to watch every single thing and still be expected to make somehting delicious for everyone else (who aren’t diabetic!!)

"Wear Red" Friday
You will soon see a lot of people wearing Red on Fridays. Here's why..... The Americans, who support our troops, are the silent majority. We are not "organized" to reflect who we are, or to reflect what our opinions are. Many Americans, like yourself, and all their friends, simply want to recognize that Americans support our troops. Our idea of showing our solidarity and support for our troops is starting Friday and continuing on each and every Friday, until this is over, that every red-blooded American who supports our young men and women, WEAR SOMETHING RED.
Word of mouth, press, TV -- let's see if we can make the United States, on any given Friday, a sea of red much like a home football game at a University. If every one of our memberships share this with other acquaintances, fellow workers, friends, and neighbors, I guarantee that it will not be long before the USA will be covered in RED - and make our troops know there are many people thinking of their well-being. You will feel better all day Friday when you wear Red! So let's get the word out and lead by example; wear RED on Fridays.
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS! WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. FOR US, THEIR BLOOD RUNS RED!! GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Happy Friday after Thanksgiving, SnarlinCubBear.
Sorry to hear of your dessert disaster.
I have never used Splenda but I understand it is very good.
My Thanksgiving was a busy one but very enjoyable
with just the four of us plus my brother.
Enjoy today and the weekend.
