As a Suns fan, we long suspected there was a league wide thing against the Suns and in favor of the Spurs. Now I’m sure of it. Disgusting.
As an avid Mavericks fan, I was always suspicious as to how the Heat beat the Mavs four straight in the 2006 Finals after winning the first two.
I’m doing more digging, but I’d like to see the quarter by quarter foul calls.
Look how close games 3, 5, and 6 are after the Mavs easily won games 1 and 2 by 10 and 14 points. Then look who is chief for a critical game 4 where the Mavs could have gone up 3-1 headed back home.
1: HEAT 80 @ MAVERICKS 90
2: HEAT 85 @ MAVERICKS 99
3: MAVERICKS 96 @ HEAT 98
4: MAVERICKS 74 @ HEAT 98 ‘The Bavetta Effect’ see below
5: MAVERICKS 100 @ HEAT 101
6: HEAT 95 @ MAVERICKS 92
Look at the crew chief for Gane 4 Miami blowout: Dick Bavetta
And the 4th quarter shutdown is questionable (20 to 7 ???):
1 2 3 4 T
DAL (14-9) 25 19 23 7 74
MIA (16-7) 30 24 24 20 98
