Hulk Hogan is returning to the profession -- but not to the organization -- that made him a household name. Hogan is coming out of retirement to join TNA Wrestling (the name sounds dirty, but it actually stands for "Total Nonstop Action"), the outfit behind Spike TV's Thursday night series "TNA Impact."

"I'm thrilled to be jumping back into the world of professional wrestling," said Hogan, 56.

"My fans have been asking me to return to the business for many years on a full time basis, but the timing or the opportunity has never been right until now." His specific role will be "announced in the near future."

An old Hogan ploy. Several times in the past, he’s told the media that he’s going to TNA in the hopes that Vince McMahon will then offer him a deal to return to the WWE. The last time he actually appeared in TNA a few years ago, he developed a “severe knee injury” after his first appearance, and then a few months later signed with WWE.

Well, the ‘N’ stands for the word ‘and’, the ‘T’ and ‘A’ stand for particular portions of the female anatomy.

Andre the Giant could have killed The Hulk. Literally. I read that Hulk Hogan was worried that Andre might not not stick to the program and lose like he was supposed too and hurt him (Hulk) in the process. I guess Andre was a true professional. May he rest in peace.

Makes you wonder...how successful Hulk would have been as a boxer, although Stallone is kind of small small for a heavy weight.

I think the Hulk and Rocky should have a rematch.

Who should they have winning this rematch?

At 60+ years old each, the fight ends in a draw. After 2 rounds both Hulk and Rocky are exhausted, they fall asleep in their corner and fail to answer the 3rd round bell.
