President Obama should focus on the war in Afghanistan, not the war against Fox News
New York Times ^ | Oct. 26, 2009 | Mike Lupika

There is no greater waste of time in the Obama White House than its war against Fox News, because it doesn't just make this President look bad, it makes him look as if the other side has cut him down to size. He would be better off trying bowling again.

At least this is one war Barack Obama can end easily. All he has to do is sit down with Chris Wallace or Shepard Smith - do the President's men think Smith was some arm of the Republican Party with his reporting on Hurricane Katrina? - or Major Garrett, a Fox White House correspondent.

You want to drive up its ratings? Do it that way.

This is what you get when you get one in office not qualified to be President. "Our Grand Old Nation" the USA, is being turned into a "Third World Nation."

Obama cannot just sit down with Fox News now. He's burned his bridges to the point where any "capitulation" or retreat is defeat for the White House.

Obama would be a terrible commander of any tactical or strategic armed force, large or small - - oh, wait.

NY Times doesn’t get it. Stuttering Barry Earsbama isn’t a US President....he’s a 3rd world dictator, excellent at suppressing dissent at home but utterly incompetent at protecting our interests abroad.

“do the President’s men think Smith was some arm of the Republican Party with his reporting on Hurricane Katrina?”

No, Shep was a disgrace, then and now. Garrett is good. Shep should go to msnbc.

What’s worse: seeking political insight from an over-the-hill, kneejerk-liberal, Clinton-apologist sportswriter or listening to 8 hours of “the best of Keith Olbermann”? Blow your brains out either way.

What I find more amusing is the the MSM and newspapers trying to tell the WH and Obummer to knock it off are not doing it because they don’t like Foxnews being attacked. They’re telling him to knock it off because it’s pushing Fox’s rating even further into the stratosphere and making the MSM’s pet politician look like an idiot.

This is to be expected from the Democommies. Clinton didn’t have any problems with attacking the folks in Waco, but he pissed his pants when it came to going after Bin Laden. I suppose it’s not too far fetched to believe that our Nilli Vanilli pres will go all in after Fox. We shall see who gets all wee wee’d up after this really gets going.

The latest salvo I heard from the White House was Anita Dunn ridiculing Fox News for reporting on the White House’s attacks on Fox News.
