The latest Apple TV ad is so foolish it is down right INSULTING and demeaning. Windows 7 is an outstanding OS and for Apple to infer that it will have massive problems like ...Window XP? HUH? What are they drinking over at the Apple ad agency? Yes, Vista was a disaster... but Windows XP wasn't, sure it had service packs but the OS is rock solid (still running it on tons of equipment) and Windows 7 certainly isn't.
Apple needs to get their heads out of the sand and instead of merely calling names and making LAME claims that are no longer true and insulting PC users (great way to get new business... NOT) they need to PRODUCE A BETTER PRODUCT/OS or shut the heck up. Windows 7 is here to stay and it is going to clean their collective clocks. Especially with the new I7 chip and the new AMD killer video processor that just came out.

Win 7= NT 6.1
Windows 7 is a maintenance release of Vista.

If you don’t mind I will send your post straight to Steve Jobs. That should straighten Apple right out.
By the way, what is APPL’s stock price? Poor things!

I'm with you on this - and when that "clock is cleaned" I want Microsoft to come out with some ads that "fight back"...

I loved that ad. We watched it during the execrable Office wedding show, and everyone in the room started laughing as PC aged backwards into 1980’s Windows 3.11 garb, cool pants, sunglasses and all.
Funny thing was, I’m the only Mac user and everyone else uses XP, yet we all laughed.
One woman, in fact, said “Those Mac commercials are always funnier to watch than the actual TV shows!”

Apple uses Intel's i7 chip, even in their new iMac. They've often used AMD (ATI) video chips, even if they seem to be on a solid NVidia kick right now.
I'm happy that Win7 is a better OS than Vista, especially that it's pared down (I run Vista on occasion in a virtual machine, just for software & website testing purposes.) I also want Apple spurred on to greater innovation. But Windows fans can be so backwards with their analyses....
