Makes you feel that you can't let them out of your sight, ever!

You are so right.

Old fashioned justice has a place in our times.

Yes she literally vanished at a Metallica concert at the John Paul Jones Arena when she went to the bathroom. WTF?

Yup. Lived in the middle of the state for a while. Looked online for REGISTERED sex offenders in my area. Could not believe how many of them there were! Story after story about these animals and their predations keep coming out. Yes, I no longer live there...

This just breaks my heart. I saw the mother earlier on FOX crying for her child to come home. This world is just a sick, sick place.

I used to walk a mile to school and back every day in 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade...but then again that was in the mid-80s in a nice suburban town with a near zero crime rate. I am so glad I grew up when I did.

Ten registered offenders live within 1 mile of Somer’s school, Grove Park Elementary, a 10-minute walk from her home.

A mile is not a 10 minute walk for an adult, much less for a 7 year old child.

Horrible!

40 years ago--FORTY years--we lived in Killeen TX (Ft. Hood) and our 7 year old was twice almost abducted--once walking 4 blocks home from school; once across the street from home watching her 12 year old brother play ball. A pervert stood around the ballgame awhile, started talking, then ask our daughter to come with him to "see something". She was half a block away when her brother noticed and started chasing and yelling. He dropped her hand and ran. On the way home from school, a guy in a car tried to grab her. She screamed and a couple construction workers ran to her rescue. Neither time did police catch the guy.

Today, it is hundreds of times worse than 40 years ago.

This comes from the coarsening of our culture and doing away with God in the public arena.

We must pray for this family--but how can they be comforted but by God and time? Also pray for the arrest and conviction of the pervert.

We had one living under a highway bridge about 2 miles down the road. His address was listed as “under the 460 bridge”. We made the cops send him packing before someone drove by and put a bullet in him.

How the f#$% can somebody do something like that to a child? I mean, seriously, why?

Yeah, but 7 year olds? That’s a long walk for little kids. At that age, they often still have to be reminded to go potty before a trip to the grocery store or something.

Somer’s mother couldn’t even put a sentence together during that press conference...it was heart wrenching. Honestly, I don’t know what I would be doing right now if this happened to one of my kids.

I am not sure if I would just have a heart attack, fill with so much rage that I go vigilante and start knocking on the doors of registered offenders...no clue...no clue...don’t even want to think about it.

There is a special place in Hell for the guilty in cases like this. Hopefully we will figure out who did this and help them find their way to eternal non-rest.

Extremely sad for us here in Jax. We’ve been praying for her and her family.

I’d like to personally gut that bastard.
