A couple of weeks ago my mom went to have her annual mamogram and they were suspiciouse about something so she was sent for a boipsye and they found cancerouse tumors. later on thru an MRI they found it was in both breasts so mom had to undergo a double matsectomy. at first they thought they had gotten it all and it wouldn't be necessary for chemo or radiation treartments but further tests revealed they did not tget it all so now her doctors are trying to figure out how next to proceed. But mom is experiancing physi8cal discomfort but she is keeping up a good attitude during all this, even getting to go with a group from a local church on a 10 day tour of Isreal before her surgery.
I really would appreciate everyone's prayers. I love my mom, she has been a rock in our family.
Prayers are up.
Prayers up!
I am so sorry about your mom. That’s great that she’s getting to take that trip. I’m sure it will be a real blessing to her to walk where Jesus walked and lived as a man and changed history forever. Always wanted to do that myself. Just take things one day at time, continue to pray for her and trust her to God. I know how hard that can be though. His ways are not our ways, and He doesn’t seem to feel compelled to explain Himself to us a lot of the time.
Mothers are like that. :) I've always felt the person who first labeled women the weaker sex must not have known many women. The indominable spirit your mother continues to show in the face of such a daunting challenge is a testimony to her strength. Please know that she and your family will be in my prayers.
