Its too early to know what Sarah Palin's future role might be but I'm so very happy for her and hope her star will continue to rise. After the brutal attacks she and her family have endured this year she very much needs the favorable spotlight focused on her this week. The timing of the book tour is perfect. Her name is sure to come up during all the upcoming cocktail party chit chat and in holiday dinner parties. The comparisons to what might have been and what we got will be inevitable.

I want her to enjoy ever single moment of the love she is receiving. Then I hope she will be able to maintain a steady course and keep building her base for the next few years. Her greatest peril is peaking too soon.

There ya go... We had a lot of rain in October this year but the same thing happened in, 1895, 1907 and 1953. The climate changes occasionally but it isn't a crisis, its simply "weather".

Seriously though, that ozone hole/cooling/warming boondoggle makes my blood pressure go through the roof (like almost everything else going on these days... good thing I don’t have bp problems... yet!). Even when I was a full-fledged psycho enviro in college (as opposed to the conservative kind now who only wants clean air and water, and clean towns without leftist infestations!), I didn’t buy whatever cockamanie crap they were peddling to that degree!! Brainwashing!
