Director Roman Polanski lost an appeal Tuesday to be freed from a Swiss prison ahead of his possible extradition to the United States for having sex in 1977 with a 13-year-old girl.
The Swiss Criminal Court said releasing Polanski on bail or under house arrest posed a high risk of flight.

What world do you live in that makes you call drugging then sodomizing a child a "mistake"? That is effed up. In the real world that is a heinous crime.

Maybe because she was drugged, she doesn’t remember very well what happened. Most rape victims are not forgiving.

There’s some evidence to suggest her mother was whoring her out to various power players to advance her career. That doesn’t excuse Polanski’s lack of self control of course.
