"The Big Broadcast is a Sunday night tradition for families throughout the WAMU listening area. Each week, Big Broadcast host Ed Walker offers listeners priceless recordings of popular radio programs from the '30s, '40s and '50s. Priceless, especially, for a man whose first sentence as a child was, 'Turn the radio on.' "

Evening from chilly east Alabamastan, Vision.

Hey Evening. Baltimore is quite cold too, with lots of rain this week. Has me dreaming of west palm beach.
Think I'm lighting up a padilla '32 lancero with the show tonight. Enjoy.

Sounds like a winner. A snifter of brandy would complete it. I just put a pair of applewood-smoked turkey breast tenderloins in the rotisserie, and sat down with a glass of wine, and my briar pipe with a bowlful of Dutch Masters bourbon Cavendish. Be tuning into Ed shortly. Mama Viking just came got home to Cumberland from li'l sister's place up in the Pittsburgh area, and said everything between Somerset and Wellersburg has got a dusting of snow already.

If you’ve been listening...do you know why he “had to kill her?” I missed it.

Nuts. I missed it, too. The wife required technical assistance in the other room, and that can be like pulling teeth sometimes.

He was insane. She walked away from him and he thought he pushed her over. The police took her back to her parents, he went to a funny farm.
Based on a true story...
