wow. That is just awesome!

paper thin flexible lcd display.
disposable televisions.
roll it out on the wall of your living room and paste it into place with double side tape.
unroll it from pocket and watch the news on the subway.

portable led paper.

can’t wait for the japanese to create application for it. And for the chinese to mass produce it affordably.

Amazing technology...it's almost frightening how far we've progressed.

That right there is the death of print on paper media. My gradkids will probably never have their fingers stained with newspaper ink.

I couldn’t believe my eyes......I was getting ready to buy an LCD for Christmas......but this OLCD is what I’d like to wait for.....I may reconsider and get a much less expensive, (smaller) LCD and save those funds for a year or so.....once these hit, you can throw out those big heavy LCD’s that are power hungry.....

WOW

There is an application for them. They will be in future cell phones and similar iClone devices.

OLED is a couple of years away (read decade) from having an affordable wall sized unit.

Spend your money on a nice LED backlit LCD display, and by the time it is ready to be replaced then OLED will be ready.

That's something.

And to think, I'm still using the old CRT TV I bought in 1987.
