I guess because the little "welfare queens" can now collect payments for two, section-8 for housing, food stamps, medical care, help with utilities......and all kinds of goodies.

It's very different now from what it was in your description above. For instance, in at least Illinois and Wisconsin, if the mother doesn't identify the father so his wages can be garnished for child support, she gets no cash assistance. Section 8 housing in any larger city is really difficult to get. The wait time can be well over a year and if, after moving in, you have a change of circumstances, you have to move out.

I don't know about that.

I have rental properties in Chester, Pa. so I have seen what goes on first hand.

Believe me, I would sell in a heartbeat, but the real estate market there is so bad I'd have to give them away.
