I wasn't expecting much, and was I shocked to find a very well done and well acted Civil War drama. And I was amazed of the historical accuracy. The look and feel of the Wilderness was spot on, though filmed in British Columbia. The uniforms were right on the mark and they had historians work hand in hand with the film makers, and I took special note of the North Carolina troops with their unique black striping. Don't expect lots of gore though, this was on the Hallmark Channel originally, but still any Civil War buff should Netflix this one, or purchace a copy for their library.
