The movie looks to be pretty cool.
The trailer looks like an overblown version of the chase scenes from the Blues Brothers movie.
The "money shots" in these disaster flicks are way cool.
I loved the scenes from the global warming disaster pic "Day After Tomorrow," where Los Angeles gets destroyed by tornadoes and NYC gets wiped out by a giant tsunami. The wave itself, and the flooding of the streets were really convincing. (The movie was really stupid, but it did have some great effects.)
Here is the only clip I could find of those scenes on YouTube -- whoever posted it put a heavy metal music score to the clip, but the footage is there.
