Wow. amazing how one goofy looking little pipsqueek can wreck havoc on the world. It is interesting to see these in color. It’s makes it more real and menacing somehow.

The context is in the knowing what all these “beautiful” people brought to the world. Their deeds are the context for this pomposity.

This is an excellent but chilling post. Thank you.

“Lonesome” is OK. And typos happen. Way back in ‘98 when Lonesome signed up, they were probably charging by the character for screen names.
If *I* had a nickel for every time I have posted something that I should have thought through better, I’d have a whole pocket full of nickels! :-)

Thank you! These are just astounding to see. They leave me with a deep sense of awe and sadness.
Those on dial-up most likely won't be able to view them.

Ping!
Fascinating, horrifying in their normalcy.

I like this comment:
До сих пор удивляюсь, как Гитлер с такой отталкивающей внешностью смог повести за собой миллионы людей
?

Wow. That’s an impressive collection. Some nice shots of what look like Vichy French or Italian warships.

That picture is unreal. Is it possible that the propagandists used the 1940 equivalent of Photoshop techniques to fake the size of the crowd?
