I have connections in Brazil, but the high crime rate (and police/local government corruption) is a serious consideration. The political parties left and right are committed to a balanced budget and a growing, diversified economy, however.

you left out the most important feature....but the crime is a bitch...demographics wise ...and crime...Brasil is where we are headed...dual cultured society...walled residences etc
