The same thing happened to Brittney Spears. She debuted as a junior-high idol, then grew more and more skanky. Who listens to Brittney today?

As Miley gets older, I guess it was inevitable that she and her handlers want to get rid of the tweenage/young teenager type image.

But do you have to go to the stripper pole to show you have grown into a young woman? I don’t get that part of it.

Britney Spears last album went platinum in the US. It was the 15th best selling album of 2008.Her entire arena tour behind that album has sold out.

I don’t think she is a good example of someone no one is listening to anymore.
