David Letterman's sensational sex scandal has triggered a $300 million divorce war between the 62-year-old talk-show host and his outraged wife Regina, say sources close to the star.
The couple - who lived together for years before marrying March 19 - are fighting over everything from his extensive property holdings to custody of their son Harry, 6, according to insiders.
"It's become a real battle," revealed a Late Show insider.
"Regina is humiliated, and she wants to get even with David for his public admission he cheated on her repeatedly during their 23-year relationship."
Letterman stunned his fans when he confessed on-air to having sex with female employees and revealed he had become the victim of attempted blackmail.
The ENQUIRER was told the kinky late-night host maintained a fully equipped love nest, likes to play "dress up" - and even had a girlfriend parade around with a set of pom-poms pretending to be a cheerleader.

I *used* to find his show to be *very* funny--much funnier than Leno. Back when he was on NBC, I watched the show a lot, and it was sharp and clever and witty. Even after he moved to CBS, it was still mostly funny for a number of years. The last five to ten years, increasingly less so, and thus I hardly ever watch at all now.
Letterman, Keillor, even Franken, who at one time was funny--the more political these people let their act become, the less funny they got.
I doubt that there is a divorce in the offing. Just won’t happen.
I also doubt that any of his staffers (no pun intended...(rimshot)) will sue him for sexual harassment.
I say he walks clean on this one.

If you look on Youtube for Stephanie Birkitt, there’s one recurring theme: She’s always dressed in a high school letterman jacket and skirt. She was the girl who handed out prizes of Late Show Band CD’s and “Explode-O-Pop” popcorn.
He should’ve married the 23 year old.......
Oh,this is *BEAUTIFUL*! And,IIRC,New York,unlike many states,is *not* a “no fault divorce” state.Maybe we’ll soon see Dave selling pencils over there in front of the Ed Sullivan Theater.
