Lebanon where? I really, really, really wish that FReepers would just add the state identifier in parenthesis in these stories from local newspapers.In addition, I wish Freepers would stop posting local news in the Breaking News section. If local domestic disputes are worthy of Breaking News, then how about the large pothole at the end of my driveway?

Meleanie Hain, the pistol-carrying Lebanon mom who received national attention for taking a loaded gun to her daughter’s soccer game, was shot to death Wednesday night with her husband in an apparent murder-suicide, police said. This had been raised up to a NATIONAL story. This is a continuation of that.
Breaking news? Maybe not (since it isn't "developing" etc.) but I could see Front Page or Extended (since it is a continuation of a national story).

It's obviously one of those "shovel-ready" jobs Obama is always talking about.
