A British daredevil's vacation bungee jump went horribly wrong when his cord came loose and he hit the water at 80 miles an hour but miraculously, he survived.
Rishi Baveja, 21, told "FOX & Friends" Wednesday that he didn't even know the rope around his ankles had slipped off during his videotaped 165-foot leap in Thailand until the very end.
"I didn't know anything was wrong until I hit the water," he said by phone from his home in the U.K.

I don't want to know anything else about this guy... The fact that he's not suing the Bungee Jump company that was running this is absolutely fantastic! He did it knowing that there is always the chance of something happening and that's the way he's looking at it. Most in America would have looked at it as an opportunity to become an instant millionaire.

...if it was Thailand, the only thing he would win in a suit, might be the Bungee rope

Funny bit from the interview:
"Would you do it again?"
"Well, I still haven't bungee-jumped, I've just jumped."

Actually in the video it seemed the process of slipping off slowed down how fast he was falling into that water IMO.

Notice how as soon as he separates from the bungee, he begins rapidly tumbling. Something broke loose and whatever force was required to break the binding also slowed his fall a little bit.

When asked would he do it again, he said “Phuket”

Maybe he likes the bragging rights and wants to name this new “extreme” sport.

Odd but humorus. All parachutes have a better warranty. In the event of a “fail to open” incident, simply return it for a new one.

I guess it’s the adrenalin rush you get halfway down when the thought goes through your mind “Did I remember to put the ankle thingy on?” If the answer is “No” you get a REAL rush but up until now nobody’s had anyone to ask that who could answer it...

He wants to bungee again someday, but only if he gets permission from one very important person in his life. "Hopefully, one day, when I can convince Mum to let me do it again
You would have to be crazy to bungee jump in Thailand. However, it looks like this guy qualifies. Hay, I like the country but their approach to risky behavior is famous.
Actually, my opinion is you have to be crazy to bungee jump anywhere. Right up there with jumping out of perfectly good airplanes.
