Authorities estimate the explosion caused ten million dollars worth of improvements. ROFL!
I love the original movie, stilted uncomfortable dialog and all. I fear for the remake. I'm certain the crazy leftist mindset (genuinely absent from the original) will end up oozing out around the corners at least.

Here are some pictures of propoganda handed out by the enemy forces:
The last one reminds me of an ACORN office

I would guess the wolverines will be changed from white kids lead by a sports leader.... to mostly blacks led by a black gang leader

Wonder if the “Wolverines” are a rainbow coalition of community organizers armed with petitions?

Perhaps a loose and uneasy coalition of Wolverines, Spartans, Buckeyes and Fighting Irish?

downtown Detroit yesterday, ... explosion scene.

meh. Too much fire in that. You’d think the building was an urban fuel depot. Unless that’s part of the story...

It makes more sense than the original in which all these foreign troops were stationed way out in the middle of nowhere.
Perhaps, but give me a break......Detroit?????
On second thought, the movie doesn't have to identify it as Detroit and the already demolished buildings will save on the cost of explosives........and just throw around some smoke grenades.........brilliant!

Its not the movie set of Red Dawn,
Its Obamanana Dawn, where the story line takes a 2010 twist. The Reds have taken over the government, led by a tyrannical Marxist and his 43 czar shadow government, and its up to the people to take their government and land back.

Rule #1 in movie making: Never, EVER, try to re-make a classic.
There is only one Red Dawn and I will refuse to watch this new version.

The ruins of Detroit, Mt. Clemens, Saginaw and Pontiac are all shooting sites. How do they tell the ruins from the rest of the city?
To: Le Chien Rouge
that might be just a tad difficult now.
