Hang Ten!
I had pretty well recovered from the balloon accident but then I was in another accident that messed me up big time. I fractured my spine in several areas, from the C-spine all the way down to the S-spine, my pelvis, and broke my tail bone. Unfortunately, I had to take a lot of steroids several years ago and it caused me to have osteoporosis, so the fractures haven't been healing right. I could barely move for several months because the pain was so bad. The tail bone was by far the most painful of all. Every move you make moves your tail bone. Ouch!
Thanks for the heads up on the Vitamin D. I'm going to see if that helps!
I was injured in a hot-air balloon related accident back in 1998. I was on the freeway during a mass ascension, and some lady rear-ended me - obviously distracted by 500 balloons hovering around the freeway. This happened on SB 25 near the Griegos exit, and traffic was at a full stop.
My Mom is there right now, visiting her brother...but that wasn’t her. :)
One thing that has really helped me with my back and neck problems has been pure MSM powder. I get the Jarrow brand MSM powder from my local health food store and put 1/4 teaspoon in every bottle of water I drink. You cannot OD on it, but you may want to start slow with just one dose a day and build up. (It might upset your stomach if you take full dose all at once, so build up slowly.) It has no taste, but for some reason makes the water taste wetter, if that makes sense. But it helps rebuild and lubricate cell membranes and soft tissue so it’s sorta like oiling your joints. Good stuff. Don’t get the MSM combined with Glucosamine... you’d have to take twenty horse tablets a day to get the same amount you will get in 4 bottles of MSM treated water.
