Considering that Lexington, VA is the home of VMI, it is the antithesis of a liberal college town. This was where Thomas Jackson taught, and no one in Lexington can forget that for a second.

Bryan, Texas. Actually Bryan/College Station, Texas; but that makes it too large I think! Bryan is a great place...and even Texas Monthly says it is the hidden jewel in Texas.
