True. Cooperstown is a fascinating place, and not just for the Baseball Hall of Fame.
My college town (NOT a liberal school) is in Baldwin, KS - a beautiful small town.
LOLOLOLOL
I’ve been to Beaux Bridges (and am planning to retire in Lexington VA). Beaux Bridges is in the very heart of cajun country .. great people, food, music .. just a fun place to be. Also like St Martinsville nearby that hosts a museum dedicated to the plight of the Cajuns, and how they came to settle in LA. It also has a beautiful, historic church.
I agree wholeheartedly on Lexington, VA. Been there 3 times.
There are a lot of cool small towns in VA.
Not Bridges, it’s Bridge.
I’m an Aggie, but I wouldn’t put Bryan on that list.
I think there are more interesting places in Texas and around the country.
Cayucos is a fabulous town...nice cemetery there. I wouldn’t object to lying there in perpetuity.
Well since you brought up this topic I think I’ll do a repost:
Considering Relocating? Think about Colorado Springs
Outside Magazine just ranking Colorado Springs as the best place to live.
http://outside.away.com/outside/destinations/200908/best-towns-america-colorado-springs.html
Outside Magazine lists as a drawback that it might be get this TOO CONSERVATIVE for some people.
As you know, Money Magazine consistently usually ranks it number 1 as well.

If you or a CONSERVATIVE person is considering relocating, Id invite you to tell them about this family values oasis. Id personally suggest Northern Colorado Springs as being the best and the most conservative.
And just to lay my cards on the table, I am not in the Real Estate business and make nothing off anyone moving here. I just know that Soros and others have dumped millions into Colorado and have succeeding in taking over the state government for the first time in decades recently.
The Springs loses out to Denver and Boulder in the state elections but it is still close enough to make a difference.
Pass this along.
Take America back starting at the center...
Galena, Illinois should be on the list (but don’t tell anyone.)
Not even one of ‘em, I checked. ;’)
Red Headed Step Brother
I have been to the Springs and I like doing business there. With energy sector contacts in that state, I am always considering moving my business there.
Add to that the fastest velodrome in the United States (got my fastest ever 500 meter time there).
Just the way I want it. So many hidden jewels...seriously, you wouldn’t want that spoiled, would you?
sorry I think I did stray off mentally to Beau, the actor. That happens with us seniors.
Cut and Shoot Texas didn’t make the list?
Cayucos was always my overnight stop of choice as I drove up PCH from HB to San Fran. Great place...but there’s not much “there” there...;)
I grew up real near Oxford and MU is my alma mater x’s 2. It was really a cool town in the 50s, 60’s and early 70s. Now I must defer to the opinion of others.
