COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- A llama is loose near the summit of Colorado's Pikes Peak, and a rescue group says it's probably a domesticated escapee that has little chance of surviving in the wild.
The llama was first reported about a month ago and has been ranging between the 13,000-foot level and the 14,110-foot summit. It has ventured to within 30 feet of a cog railway that runs to the top.

My best friend just adopted a “rescued” Llama. I asked her “what the hell are you going to do with that thing, have a spitting contest?”, LOL!
beautiful area. Intriguing animal. Hope they find him or her (alive).
I find them to be adorable animals. If I had the space I might consider it.
Well, they are herd animals and don’t like solitary life...bring out a few llamas, pen them near the fugitive, and it may come close enough to be corralled.
If it’s a male, bring out a few open females and it won’t take long.
When our male alpacas escaped, we opened the gate to the girls’ pasture and in they flew!
The llama was first reported about a month ago.....It’s survived a month? Must be doing something right...
I llike llamas.
Loose Llama ‘lert ping
They should fly Michelle and Barack out there on separate planes to check on the situation.
He was OK, but Ricardo Montalban was better [ Rimshot...]
Poor thing. Hasn’t anyone reported a missing llama?
Beautiful scenery.
I have read somewhere that llamas are often kept with sheep herds as guards against coyotes. They don't like them and can do a stomp job on a good sized coyote.
It sounds like hw went up there to doolittle...
Your kid?
