Sorry ladies...he's taken (snicker)
I'm with you. But the left will never relinquish their grip on your money so...
In case you ever wondered what Michael Moore was cloned from.
Aren’t the Democrat-run cities and states the most pathetically ineptly run parts of the USA? The Right wishes it could extricate itself from these cesspools of dependency.
Of course, Garison Keilor, as unfunny as Al Franken, would still mandate that conservatives pay for all the nanny-state garbage he is proposing. They forget that a war was fought over taxation without representation.
I just wonder who doctors would choose to treat, Conservatives who choose to pay for healthcare themselves or Libs who just give them a voucher to try to collect payment from the fed gov.
How's about this, Gary:
We pay our own way, and you libs can pay for all the deadbeats and illegal aliens.
Great idea.
How about this? Since over 65% of physicians are conservatives, how’s about we just stop providing care to liberals?
Garrison Keillor brings to political debate the same technique Roman Polanski brought to romantic seduction.
So much idiocy in one small article...
Garrison, stick to making quirky, funny stories about home-town folk and stop talking about things you don’t understand.
People too often confuse one type of genious with another.
Mozart made astounding music, Einstein could do math, Barbara Streisand can sing, Joy Behar can make funny, but none of those talents = understanding of economic theory.
That chin has been slapped by many a scrotum.

I’m game. I’ll go one better. Pick a state ... Arkansas, Alabama, Texas ... suspend taxes on corporations. Now double the taxes on companies in New York and Massachusetts and California. Let’s take a look a year from now and see how the “enlightened” states are doing versus the redneck ones.
Let’s see who has the more doctors and hospitals and lower unemployment.
The democrats have continuosly demonized the insurance companies. If the members of the Democratic Party were such experts about how to run an insurance company, why don’t they start their own health insurance company? This could give them a chance to demonstrate their benevolent program. I think they could call it the Barack Obama Health Insurance Company of America or BOHICA for short.
I agree with the article—let’s make a division between the Producers and the Looters.
The Looters can give themselves whatever they think they’re “entitled” to, but they may not steal any of the earnings of the Producers who opt out to pay for it.
I wonder how enthusiastic the author would be about that (I’m sure the intent was to limit the benefits to the people he agrees with, while continually stealing from those who work for a living and want no part).
Belligerently ignorant dolt
Garrison Keiller can eat sh*t and die.
