Whether You Like it or Not - California Will Legalize Pot Next Year

(That seems to be the idea behind a new article out today)

According to a well known, and outspoken leader from the left it’s a good bet that the state will legalize Pot next year.

Part of the reason?

The state needs...

>There is just too much money to be made both by the people who grow marijuana and the cities and counties that would be able to tax it.” …Willie Brown

This is a statement of fact, not opinion.

Let’s see what happens next year (whether you like it or not).

He'd skirt it and ask "Have you stopped beating your wife?"

Find any post where I ever opposed Proposition 215 or called for its invalidation or repeal.
Once again you've failed to follow the conversation and you've twisted things around.
My comment was in regards to this comment by Palin Republic...
I’d like to see Mojave call McClintock a leftist dope pusher for this:...
and it had nothing to do whatsoever with Prop 215.

It was about your tendency to go off the beaten path simply to denigrate those who do not follow your statist dogma....kind of like in your You're so full of dope. comment towards me.
You see what I mean? There was no need for you to go there, but you just can't seem to drag yourself out of that wagon wheel rut.
That's all right though as I've come to look forward to such comments from you when we converse 'cause I know that when they start you're pedaling fast and going nowhere.

So what! None of that negates or changes what I stated...it was “regulated” (a law was established) for revenue.

>I agree completely.

Oops, I had mistaken you for a supporter of the Federal War on Drugs. Sorry about that.

Now I understand why you accept the dope dens operating openly in San Diego.

Nice to know you support Amendment 10 and a reasonable view of the commerce clause.

Its content. As you've already tacitly admitted,
Ah, what I said was "And if taxation is regulation then how is gasoline, which is taxed, regulated? (beyond its content, that is)"
I know you saw that. It's regulated for tax revenue...right?
You're wanting to straight jacket the word regulate/regulation to fit your argument.

Dopers smear the Founders across multiple threads.
Please source where I've smeared the Founders and give any evidence that establishes that I'm a doper. (simply disagreeing you is not evidence)

Statists seem to smear others across multiple threads.

The Founders founded cities with names like Hemphill, Hempstead, etc.

Tom was asked a question about 215. Wait for the buzz to subside before posting.

Sorry, I thought you were trying to speak English.

"Section 19 gave details of how the casks were to be branded."

The that was established regulated whiskey manufacture.

You meet someone named Bubba in prison after a drug bust?

Oops, I had mistaken you for a supporter of the Federal War on Drugs.

Proposition 215 doesn't conflict with federal law, as direct quotes posted from the ballot showed.

Short term memory losses and dope infatuation seem to be related.

Inter alia. The burden of proof for your sourceless assertions lies on you.

You continue venting your impotent rage into prison rape fantasies?

Stay classy Bro. Keep beating your chest, we’re all really impressed. Especially the dope dens down your street raking in gobs of cash, while you grouse helplessly on the internet and wish harm on strangers.

Poor old thing; what a pathetic display.

>You can buy hemp flour on Amazon.com.

But not grow it in America, land of the free.

Because of the asinine assclowns of prohibition.

The Founders would have reached for their muskets if anyone presumed to prohibit them from growing a God-given plant.

We’ve let the drugs and the statist fascists win. Time to rethink this situation.

No source for that assertion, of course.
