Whether You Like it or Not - California Will Legalize Pot Next Year

(That seems to be the idea behind a new article out today)

According to a well known, and outspoken leader from the left it’s a good bet that the state will legalize Pot next year.

Part of the reason?

The state needs...

>you’re squealing hysterically

Let’s say that’s true. How does that help you do something about the 50+ tax-paying marijuana stores that are happily paying the City of San Diego’s bills EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK?

It’s happening right in your town! And you just sit around grousing about it on the internet. No wonder the drugs have won the War, especially in San Diego. It’s a stoner paradise, isn’t it?

And you just take it. While the children of your community get high instead of learning and building the future.

Have you even Freeped ONE SINGLE illegal marijuana store?

You can find the closest one to you with several different web sites, take your pick and go to it.

>Classic leftist

Wraps up in the flag to defend the Drug Wars. Classic jingoist. Have another whiskey and cigar, keyboard soldier!

You take out 30% of the visible enemy and it has zero effect on their effectiveness.

What is your evaluation of your strategy and tactics?

50 - 14 = 36. And that's just the from the SDPD arrests in September alone.

You're claiming that the city of San Diego is paying its bills thanks to illegal drug sales? Just what are you smoking while you dream up your attacks on our Vietnam veterans?

BTW, Sarah Palin opposes pot legalization. You should consider a using a more appropriate handle.

From the John Kerry school of historical revisionism.

BTW, Sarah Palin opposes pot legalization. ...

From NORML website, which reflects the laws in each state. I am not now a pot smoker, but am for civil liberties and God-given rights. YMMV.

I am also a proud supporter of Mrs. Palin.

Alaska:

*Possession of one ounce or less of marijuana in the privacy of the home is legal. The status of possessing an amount between one ounce and four ounces is unclear, pending clarification by the courts. Possession of 4 ounces or more of marijuana is a felony punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $50,000.

*Possession of less than 25 plants is protected under the Alaska Constitution’s right to privacy (See Ravin v. Alaska). Possession of 25 or more marijuana plants is “Misconduct involving a controlled substance in the fourth degree” and is punishable by a fine of up to $50,000 or five years in prison.

“Palin doesn’t support legalizing marijuana, worrying about the message it would send to her four kids. But when it comes to cracking down on drugs, she says methamphetamines are the greater threat and should have a higher priority.”

Possession of less than 25 plants is protected under the Alaska Constitution’s right to privacy (See Ravin v. Alaska).

By the way, the Alaska Constitution says nothing of the kind. That was a notorious example of a leftist court inventing law out of thin air from the bench.

You support that kind of thing?

That was a quote from a third party, not Sarah speaking. The message is from a mother... " worrying about the message it would send to her four kids." ...

I agree with her message, Nancy Reagan just said "NO". Her son was known to take a hit! But, more importantly I support SarahPac. I am more interested in saving the country than trying to find the bong! That is why I support her.

I'd rather people smoke a joint and get high, than down a 12 (or 20) pack for the night...

The "third party" being a newspaper report. As opposed to NO source to support your disingenuous implication that she supports dope.

Nancy Reagan just said "NO". Her son was known to take a hit!

And out comes the all too predictable swipe at the Reagans.

We were talking about 30% of San Diego’s weed stores getting busted. Like the body counts in the Vietnam War, the high number sounds meaningful or even impressive yet masks the reality of facts on the ground.

The day before the busts, weed in San Diego was $300/oz.

The day of the busts, weed in San Diego was $300/oz.

The day after the busts, weed in San Diego was $300/oz.

The week after the busts, weed in San Diego was $300/oz.

One month after the busts, weed in San Diego will be $300/oz.

What is your evaluation of that operation’s effectiveness?

What is your evaluation of this strategy and these tactics?

They can use the exact same argument to legalize prostitution, now that they’re legalizing marijuana:

The argument to make crimes permissible so they can be taxed.

I have "implied" nothing. I have made some comments. She was governor. She's a great American. So what?

I didn't "swipe" at Reagan. Again, I reported a fact, AFTER I talked about Mom Nancy. I repeat my support for Mrs. Palin. My post to you had to do with the post you started with. which attempted to ridicule a person for supporting Sarah Palin, while disagreeing with YOU. It shows the weakness of your argument.

Show me an article of the US Constitution which denies us the right to take a hit, or grow some "weed"? I will be happy to start with my guides, Art. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 .... What part of the document do you understand to allow for a car or a home (or a stack of $hundreds) to be "confiscated" WITHOUT A TRIAL? Which part says "just say no"?

Inquiring minds want to know!

"Let's do it for the children..."

Get the government out of my pocketbook and out of my bedroom.

The article you're defending calls for new pot taxes. You just finished dishonestly asserting that drug pushers were paying San Diego's bills. Now keeping Roman Polanski and his drugs away from 13 year old girls offend your leftist philosophy?

I have made some comments.

Some dishonest pro-pot propaganda from the NORML followed by a picture of Sarah Palin. She doesn't support NORML or your pro-drug agenda.

I didn't "swipe" at Reagan. Again, I reported a fact

That one of her sons purportedly did dope. Crawl back under your rock.
