Somehow, I just cannot get my (obviously warped) mind around the concept of a “romantic” proposal of marriage after the marriage has for all meaningful purposes already been consumated.

As for the turtles that witnessed it, sometimes you just can’t do anything right.

So where were the so called “volunteers” when all this death and destruction occurred?

The enviro turtle Nazis knew where each and every turtle nest was located so they have no one to blame but themselves for the death of these hatchlings. How hard is it to line the beach with 2 or 3 ft. high plastic retaining walls force herding the hatchlings into the ocean, and if needed, temporary connecting plastic walls along the beach line to prevent the turtles from turning around and heading landward?

But that’s too simple and I’m sure they could come up with myriads of excuses as to why that wouldn’t work.

But then again, that wouldn’t be “natural” would it? These people are nothing but a bunch of do-gooding idiots who ultimately do more harm than good.

Turtle soup, ummmmmm good!

Yea, that was my comment on that news site.......

This is idiocy. All’s that is needed is an artificial “moon on the horizon” light buoy.***

Thank you. I was wondering the same thing.

Also the upset “sea turtle lovers” are at the same time “fellow human haters”.

The couple received a warning from the town and a lecture from furious sea turtle volunteers. They showed remorse for what happened and said they had no idea about light restrictions in place from May through October for beachfront properties, according to Skigen. Placing luminarias on the beach also is forbidden by local laws.

I've spent the day looking for rabbit to cook. Not only can I not find it where I live, every friend I've asked about it treats me like Jack the Ripper.

Get one each male and female. Never go looking again. Of course there will be that whole 'Silence of the Bunnies' thing.

Well, I have absolutely no idea where you may live, but you can get rabbit at Lexington Market in Baltimore and sometimes in the Strip District in Pittsburgh.

Do you find it annoying?

As annoying as when someone deliberately posts the same damn thing four times?

Just wondering.
