Remember when Rumsfeld called Western Europe”? Europe and the liberals went nuts? Obammuist did worse. He put a death sentence on Eastern Europe. He chose the exact date when Poland was invaded to make sure they understood his allegiance with the communist. . It looks like Iran and Russia is on the move. To the ignorant out there, it was just another decision dems reps disagree on, but this WILL not just change the lives of Eastern Europe, but also us in the US. Russia and Iran (who struck an oil deal) will be on the move. Chavez and Castro...other marxist/ communist will work on this part of the world (plus own own maxist=democrats in this country) Israel will defend herself before Iran attacks and I think we all better make sure our lives are right with God. If you don’t believe in prophecy, better start watching and listening to what is happening in the world. Anyone read Joel Rosenberg’s books (The Last Jihad...) & hear his teachings on Israel and the middle east? He is a Christian, but was Jewish.

Hitler conciliatory to Allies

In Danzig... Hitler makes a triumphal entry into the formerly free city and makes a foreign policy speech that seems to offer conciliation with France and Britain, suggesting that the war could be concluded on the basis of the German territorial gains already achieved. He also swears that Danzig will be German forever and that Germany will fight to the bitter end, if necessary.

In Poland... The Soviet advance reaches the Hungarian frontier. In the north Vilna (Wilno) is taken. The Soviets link up with the Germans at Brest Litovsk, which is given up to the Soviets according to the provisions of the secret agreement of August 23, 1939. Meanwhile, about 30,000 Polish troops reach Warsaw after fighting their way out of Kutno. German bombers being a continuing assault on Warsaw, initially striking utilities and other essential public facilities. Also, the battle of Bzura ends with the surrender of 100,000 officers and men of the defeated Polish Pomorze and Poznan armies (consisting of 19 Polish divisions). In eastern Poland, German forces surround Lvov.

In France... The first British army corps lands in France.

Rickenbecker predicted the USSR would be the big winner of the war. If the USA had stayed out like he wanted us to, that probably would have happened.

As for participation in the war only causing bankruptcy, he was personally quite right. His prize asset, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, did not run a 500 from 1942-1945, and went bankrupt. In 1945, Tony Hulman bought the property for the equivalent of a string of beads. Today it is probably worth a couple billion dollars.
