A Yale University lab technician was arrested Thursday and charged with the suffocation death of a graduate student whose body was found stuffed in a research building wall on what would have been her wedding day.
New Haven police said they arrested 24-year-old Raymond Clark III at the Super 8 hotel in Cromwell, about 25 miles north of the Ivy League campus. Clark had been staying at the hotel since he was released early Wednesday by police, who had served search warrants looking for evidence linking him to Annie Le's death.
New Haven Police Chief James Lewis said there are no other suspects. Authorities would not comment on a possible motive, other than to call it workplace violence. The arrest warrant was sealed by a judge.
"It is important to note that this is not about urban crime, university crime, domestic crime but an issue of workplace violence, which is becoming a growing concern around the country," Lewis said.

As a 20 veteran (retired now) of 2 Ivy League universities, I am surprised that workplace violence doesn't happen more often.
Saul Alinsky tactics are alive and well in these universities.
That is, find a target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it...
Either Annie or Raymond was the target... as we will learn in the coming days.
seriously vicious atmospheres in these places of study and employment.
Major fail.
So disturbing. Such a lovely young lady. The kid looks kind of normal, but there must be something very wrong going on underneath.
“Clark, his fiancee, his sister and his brother-in-law all work for Yale as animal lab technicians.”
wow.....”Of Mice and Men” came to mind.
Reminds me of that old joke: Q. Why is the infighting so bad in academia? A. Because the stakes are so low.
This is no laughing matter, however. Universities are full of people who live in their heads alone, with no spiritual discipline -- in fact, laughing at Christ and all He stands for. Ivy League faculties are believers in the religion of moral relativism, deconstruction and "criticism." It's just tragic this envious man, low on the pecking order indeed, picked on this tiny little woman interested in medical science.
the Craigslist killer looked clean, too
had a pretty fiance, too
If she exchanged emails with him....she surely conversed with someone else about him....
Yes....Those are the only emails we know about...at this time...
Well, we’ll know that there’s an animal rights motive for this, IOW a Cass Sunstein defense, if coverage of the case drops right off the MSM’s radar.
“Clark’s job as an animal services technician at Yale put him in contact with Le....”
“As a technician at Yale, Clark helped clean the cages of research animals used by labs around the Ivy League campus and had other janitorial duties”
ANIMAL SERVICES TECHNICIAN = Cage cleaner/ janitor
Read about it in my new book, “God and People Who Stuff Dead Girls in Walls at Yale.”
Has anyone asked about “Rape” in this case because Killing a person over lab rat protocol makes absolutely no sense.
According to reports, he emailed her admonishing her for not following procedure concerning the mice she used in her experiments and she responded in a conciliatory tone. He also exchanged texts with her that day.
He looks like he might work out. I wonder is he was taking any type of steroids.
I was wondering the EXACT same thing this morning! Was he a member of PETA?
Sounds to me like a pretext to get her communicating with him.
