Met her in Tokyo, years ago. Still performing well. Lots of politics on stage. Great singer. Bitter person. RIP

I remember the Concert at the still unfinished Opera House in Sydney. I went there with my parents and older sister - I was part of a school choir backing group for some numbers.
And when I die....
Thanks Mary, and Bon Voyage, wherever you are going. No one can deny your talent, nor that your heart was in the right place, even if your judgment left something to be desired. Unlike many liberals, you did little actual harm, and quite a lot of actual good. I hope that I can match that in my life.
