This really worries me, so much that I’ve called Fox News and asked that Martha McCallum, Ainsley Erhart, and Megan Kelly accompany me into my nest shower to help allay my fears.

You can clean the scale in your shower head easily. You have to put CLR (go to Home Depot, lowes etc) and put it in a big plastic cup or small bucket. Dip the shower head in to disolve lime. You do not have to remove the head.
Anyone know if vinegar will do the same thing?

The water from my tap (Silicon Valley) comes out so heavily chlorinated that it burns my throat if I drink it immediately. Maybe it kills some of the showerhead bacteria too, who knows? But I never turn the shower on right into my face anyway.
