One got my mom’s poodle about five years ago in Mississippi. Let it out to pee one night and blam it was gone.

There are several that surround my property - I’m in town, too. Of course, I use the term “in town” rather loosely. “Edge of open desert” is more apt.

Same here. The coyote got my Dad’s poodle during the day. Lucky for Tex. Dad had a gun and saved him. He was all ripped up and needed surgery but he survived. He also survived an attack from a pitbull that ripped his neck open. Tex may have been a poodle but he was tough and died of old age.

A Coyote got my dog Oscar (Yorkie) in the back yard back in 2002. Heatbreaking. I had posted about it back in the day.
Anyhow, now Jess and I have something in common. Think I have a chance? ;-)
