Here's the deal...I was up early channel-surfing and watched these idiots for a few minutes. At 4:54 a.m. PST, I stumbled upon a discussion between Willie Geitz (sp?) and Nora O'Donnell (of the constantly batting eyelashes) all wee-weed up over the ACORN controversy when I heard Nora make the above assertion. She was really pushing the "guilt by association" angle, and implied this was just being stoked up to damage The One.
Willie, of course, just sadly nodded his head.

Does the use of the word "direct" rationalize Obama’s ties to ACORN?
Would Obama’s "indirect" ties imply Obama’s relationship with ACORN is less scandalous? Indirect just means Obama condones the ACORN corruption in a “roundabout” way instead of in an instructive way.

We ought to send that picture to Nora. They are truly in denial over at MSNBC. What an embarassment to journalism - no matter what your political views are, you need to report the news and the facts. The fact is Obama is closely tied to ACORN. Obama, Rev. Wright, Fr. Flager ARE ACORN and have been part of ACORN for decades. Obama was their lawyer. How those folks at MSNBC still have jobs is beyond comprehension.
Obama's entire resume is based on the "community organizing" he did for ACORN. Community organizing was a big platform during his campaign and ACORN was responsible for voter registration all across the country and DID help him get elected. He can't just slink away from his connection with them.
