I got away from the war room and this computer for a while today, figured it was time to slack off on the "progressives" for a while. I've been picking on the local bunch without mercy, LOL. They are all so mad they are taking to strong drink!
I found the Snowy Egret and the Roseate Spoonbill at the little pond I hang out at, the Great Egret was at Maria Sanchez Lake, downtown. It was heading out to look for lizards and bugs in the shrubs along the street. This shot is with my antique Olympus C2100UZ, the others with the Sony A200.
The little Olympus does pretty good with only 2MP

Beautiful. I toddle off to bed with a smile. Thanks.
You have wonderful neighbors!
Nice one, they are glorious in flight!
I don't have to go too far to find those. Beautiful work as always however.
Bart.
Love the way the Great Egret is strutting across the lawn, all business - places to go, things to do ...
Top of the food chain, LOL, they are confident! The only bird that messes with them is the Great Blue, they usually dominate an area.
Beautiful pictures!
Thank you so much.
Let me just say, that’s a great egret!
I’m so jealous, we never see the roseatte spoonbills! Lovely shots.
When I look at the Great Egret, I can hear, “Puttin on the Ritz!” in my head :)
Thank you, for the beautiful addition to our day.

Happy Birthday, Swamp!
