Update on my Mother-in-Law, Mary Kunze:

After 16 days she has been moved to Intermediate Care from ICU. She had a trach installed yesterday and is gradually being taken off the respirator. I visited yesterday and she was alert, lucid and in good spirits. She continues to have right-side paralysis and is on IV nourishment. She is to be evaluated tomorrow and we should know more about the prognosis.
