Grizzly bear gets swim lessons in Montana pool

A 7-year-old learning how to swim is nothing new unless it's an 800-pound (363-kilogram) grizzly bear taking the plunge.

Gloomy, an abandoned little bear, is rescued by Pitty (the little boy). At first, he is cute and cuddly, but becomes more wild as he grows up. Since bears do not become attached to people like dogs by nature, Gloomy attacks Pitty even though he is the owner. So Gloomy has blood on him from biting and/or scratching Pitty. The Gloomy with blood is called Chax Colony Edition.

Brutus the bear slapped the water a few times then gingerly backed into the East Helena pool while onlookers gawked late last week.Hope the pool has a good filter and plenty of chlorine

I know someone who wuz partly ete in AK a few decades ago.
Black bears in CA were enough for me. There's no way I'd go into any of the back country in Glacier, et. al. without my dog, a big knife and a gun or two.

I feel about as much compassion for people like this guy as I do with a gay who contracts AIDS or skydivers who have their chutes fail.
Just can’t seem to work up a tear for them when it all goes bad.
