LAWSUIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the EMOTIONAL STRESS must be at least worth $17million
no need for tort reform
Do they all look alike in ND?
The wrong baby? In the grand scheme of things, what difference would it really make? The parents would have held that baby. Kissed that baby. Loved that baby. I mean, so what?
It is obvious the nurse did not verify the info on the armband of the mother and child during the discharge. This is a really easy mistake to avoid.
This happened to Barack Obama’s mom, too.
Under Obamacare she wouldn’t be able to get the right one back. “too late you already took that one.”
Ok, I became a mother for the first time in Jan 08. My son was born Sep. 27 08. After giving birth and holding my son for the first time, I would have known if the nurse gave me the wrong baby. Let alone holding, changing and (most importantly) breastfeeding. After all of that and the nurse handed my a wrong baby, I would definitely know if it was mine. Just sayin’.
I’m with you. As groggy as I was in the operating room, I laid eyes on my baby and would have known if they brought IN the wrong baby from the start.
Same here. When my baby was in the nursery so I could sleep I awoke and heard a cry. I knew my baby’s cry. I knew my baby from the moment I first held him.
THis would be horrible, just terrible. But, I was thinking.... I saw my baby when he was born and knew what he looked like. He stayed with me in my room during my stay and I fed him and held him. Just wondering how the mother didn’t notice? Not blaming the mother, but it is kind of strange on both parts.
Makes for a good movie though. Remember Big Business with Bette Midler and Lily Tomlin.

So the big deal is ...
It was also a Dick Van Dyke episode.
