My sweetie & I went to the Salem, Oregon Tea Party yesterday. There weren't quite as many folks as on July 4th, but perhaps they all went to DC. Just thought I'd Post a few pics...

Looks like a good turnout. Tell your relatives you spent the day with a bunch of radicals who took over the streets.

I used photobucket, too. In fact my pics are larger than I’d intended! When I go back to look at the thread it takes a long time for me to see them. But I am having computer problems at the moment - everything going s-l-o-o-o-o-w!!!

Great pictures, Twotone! I was there also. Very impressed that so many showed up in the heat!

Some more pics that I took here are here, if anyone is interested:

Very nice pics. I was wondering if anyone caught the folks (me included) who were trying to stay in the shade of that big tree to the left of the building. We kept moving farther & farther away to stay cool. People were so spread out that it was hard to figure how many were there.

Just shuffled through some of the the other pics and found three which might be of interest to you. I added them to the the album here:

They are the last three.

Thanks for the pics. I attended a Tea Party in Grants Pass yesterday, and there was a good-sized crowd there--maybe half the size of the one you had in Salem (and GP is a pretty small town--but pretty darn conservative.)

What we really need to do is translate this energy into getting our voice heard at the ballot box in 2010!

Absolutely! Throw out the three dimocrats that are in the house now.

From 9-12-09 Salem....

I tried to post your links, but what came up was that your images had been moved. Maybe you can post the individual links.
