Humphrey is a real-life Garfield, who will only eat lasagne. The picky cat's love affair with the pasta dish began after sneaking a bite of his owner's leftovers.

We had her for 19 years and her favorite food was my home made tomato sauce, (Gram's receipe), and cheese ravioli.
Sassie had been with us about six months when she developed a taste for my favorite confection. I was watching a Cowboy preseason game. At halftime I went to the frig and got a grape popsicle. He had been sleeping on the corner of the couch. when I started to lick the popsicle whe stuck her head over my shoulder and purred. I stuck the popsicle in front of her nose! Big mistake. For the next 18 years I had to buy the megapacks.
God I miss Sassie.
Yes. All the ones who have starved are good eaters. In fact, they get a bit chubby for a few years, and then slim down again, in my experience. Right now, Miss Hissy Slashy and little Shadow are in their tubby phases, although Hissy is a naturally big girl, and Shadow is already getting thinner. My Rocket and Lucas (prince of darkness) have lost their post-starvation weight.
I love that pic.
[And the cat looks like my Misty when she hasn’t had a lion cut.]
I’ll buy that. Someone needs to tell his owner that food =/= love. (Although try to tell my kittehs that!)
Methinks there's a British car fan in your house.
Our late Muffin would literally eat any food. If we were eating it, he would beg for it until he got a bite. If he liked it, down the hatch. If he didn't, he would politely eat one small bite and then walk away.
He particularly liked cookies and potato chips. I carry tea and a cookie to Hubby in bed every morning, and Muffin always got one bite of the cookie.
Sassie sounds like a great cat. May she rest in peace.
Hubby was born in London. He’s an American citizen now, but he still has his Norton — and a spare for parts.
When my wife was pregnant Sassie was curled up behind my wife's head. I turned and was half asleep as I noticed the women next to me had black hair and my wife was a blonde. Of course it was Sassie!

Maybe should write a book. Why should that Marley ham get all the press?
I seem to recall reading somewhere that watermellon (and seeds) are excellent for both humans and animals when ill, especially if there are parasites involved. Since there's so much water in the fruit, it helps rehydrate, plus the seeds have some sort of anti-parasitic properties as well. I wish I could remember where I read that.

Ok, Norton doesn’t tell enough, what size Norton:) Not to be nosy or anything, just an old ex-biker being curious.
It's an 850 Commando with Dunstall racing accessories, a "curvy racer." It's registered as a "1979" because he constructed it from pieces of other Nortons that year. Norton folded in 1975. He also has a Suzuki Katana. Hubby was an excellent rider, but he's a big guy, tall and beefy, so he never raced except in the canyons in southern California with me and a few of our close friends.
I started with a Yoshima (not Yoshimura -- kind of a wanna be) Honda 400, then I got a Suzuki 1000, and finally a Suzuki GS1100. I still have the 1100, but neither of us has ridden for years, and I'm not likely to again. I'm too creaky.
Cute!
Kitteh always tells truth. Reality lies.
