During the 4PM ET hour of live coverage on MSNBC Thursday, co-host David Shuster denounced the behavior of Republicans at President Obama’s address to Congress, declaring: “You look at the image of the Republican Party, all white males with short haircuts. They look sort of angry. No women, no minorities, and it looks like they’ve sort of become unhinged.”
Shuster and co-host Tamron Hall moderated a debate between Democratic strategist Patrick Murphy and Republican strategist Alex Conant, over the impact of Republican Congressman Joe Wilson shouting out ‘you lie!’ during the President’s speech. Shuster claimed: “The video of the Republican lawmakers was almost as striking as the speech itself....Did the Republican image change last night for the worse or was it something minor that may have only had an impact on the conservative base that was energized and wants to kill reform?”

I guess there are going to be alot of surprised black, latina, female and male people surprised to know they don’t fit into the republican party (Rev. Manning, Condi,Allen West, Alan Keyes and about a million others, especially the black conservative comedian whos name escapes me at the moment) etc etc etc.
The left has to spin this. The fact is, obama was accused of being a liar and it was for all the world to see. It makes him look bad. I don’t watch MSM, so don’t know, but I’m betting they’re only talking about and spinning it today - not playing the video.

You “take up the white man’s burden”, as Kipling put it, working multiple jobs only to have the bread taken from your children’s mouths by lazy no-goods and looters on the Left, and see if you don’t end up bitterly clinging to your God and your guns.
No, we’re never going to renege and turn into long-haired commie “drop-outs” voting Democrat. But don’t back us too far into a corner, Shuster, or you’ll wish you hadn’t.
