WALLINGFORD - Tammy Kolaski, one of six displaced in a house fire on Old Lane Road Sunday, has a plea for any animal lovers in the area: please help in finding temporary housing for 17 cats that were left homeless as a result of the fire.
Kolaski said she and five other members of her extended family are "adjusting to difficult circumstances" after their 40 Old Lane Road home was left uninhabitable when a fire erupted Sunday afternoon. But family members have been unable to find housing for any of the 17 cats left on the property following the blaze.
"It breaks my heart to see what they are going through now. These poor cats have no place to live," said Kolaski Tuesday, who was staying at the Residence Inn in Meriden. "After the fire we were there and could see these cats walking in through broken windows, standing on glass and burnt parts of the structure. It's just horrible."
Ping.
Anybody want to adopt them (or me) can call BR-549.

Hey kitties!
How does this look for a new home?
Heck no!
Thanks for getting this kitty notice out.:) =^..^=
De nada.
You said it!=^..^=
Here’s hoping all the cats find homes or at least a no-kill shelter until they’re adopted.
Amen.
If you think its some sort of joke its not...it disgusts me how heartless people really can be...they need help not people making jokes out of their situation.
re-direct your snide comment.
Ah. I see you just signed up.
I did not post this as a joke. I posted this because a family has had a disaster and need some help with their furry children.
