Study: Men Losing Their Minds Over Women
Physorg.com ^ | 09.07.09

The study measured brain function in 40 male heterosexual student volunteers, who were asked to perform a standard memory test in which they were shown a stream of letters and had to quickly say if each was the same as the previous letter. They then spent several minutes talking to either a man or an attractive woman and then repeated the test.

The researchers found that even a few minutes with the attractive woman was enough to make the students slower and less accurate on the test. The more attracted they were, the worse their results.

They also studied the effects on women students of being in the company of handsome men, and found the test scores were unaffected.

It’s a small amount of blood, actually; it just stays there for the length of the event and then reenters the blood stream.

The brain actually demands more blood coursing through it while the episode continues and everything resumes equilibrium after a short while.

Artifical engorgement through use of pills carries a warning of sustained duration past 3-4 hours as the blood becomes unviable after too long out of circulation.

One wouldn’t want the digit to shrivel up and fall off, now — would one?

So, is this study grounds for educating boys and girls separately, at least when they get to the age that girls distract them? (What am I talking about— the pretty girls distract my son now, and he’s only 7.)

I don’t know, if you look at the English experience with private (’public’) schools, you might conclude that he’s going to be distracted by his classmates—so they might as well be female.
